Paint Spraying Service
When considering a London painting and decorating project either interior or exterior spraying has a number of important advantages over traditional techniques such as rollering, brushing or pad application. Whilst spraying is not suitable for all painting and decoration projects it certainly comes into its own where the requirement is for a uniform coverage of a large area in a simple or single colour scheme and where the job needs to be complete in a short period of time and all without brush marks!

As with many things the secret to good outcomes is in the preparation….! Spraying is just such a thing! The actual time spent putting paint on walls and ceilings is a relatively small part of the total job. The key to the final finish is in the preparation of the surfaces and the masking up of the work area.
Spraying does not use compressed air which can cause a lot of “over spray” it uses liquid pressure in finely calibrated hoses which is adjusted to match the physical viscosity of the paint liquid so that a fine and even paint covering is achieved on the work area. By using the correct spray heads a skilled operator will be able to paint the work area with the minimal “cutting in” to finish.
The penetration of the paint from spraying is also far superior. This is especially important when, for example, the work area is a dark colour and the requirement is to over-paint in a much lighter colour. Conventional brush and roller will require several coats to achieve the same finish that spraying can achieve in a couple of passes; and of course with a finely calibrated paint covering the drying time is shorter and more consistent.
